How do you spend your time? Do you choose with focus and intent? Or are your days more random?
When you’re surfing the net or watching TV, is your energy up, or down? When you stop, do you feel lighter or heavier? Are you learning something? Sharing something?
Do your activities make a difference in your life or in the lives of others? Are you using your time well? Does what you’re doing affect you at a soul level?
If not, stop. Take a deep breath. And start again.
What would you like to get done?
What’s the first step you can take today? Not tomorrow. Not next week. Today.
I love this quote from David Hawkins: A ship that is 1% off compass ends up hundreds of miles off track. If you want to get somewhere, decide where you’re going. Then track it. Work at it. Set your intent and follow through.
When you look back on today in five years, what decision did you make that changed everything?
“Nothing happens until something moves.” ~ Albert Einstein
Amen! I have a nasty, nasty internet habit which often leaves me wrung out, and yes, heavier. This is a great heads-up. Time to write/edit more, create more; wallow less. Thanks, Janie!

Perhaps set the timer on your phone when you are cruising the Net? That can be a good reminder to quit and do something fun 🙂
