7 Reasons to Declutter

Is decluttering a scary word to you? In this talk, I’ll give you 7 reasons why decluttering not only helps straighten out your space but can also bring you a wonderful Zen feeling of accomplishment and simplicity. And I’ve included easy steps to help you get started on one, baby-step declutter project.

Don’t be scared! You can do it. I hope you have as much fun listening to this as I had recording it.

Here you go!

What communities do you miss? What communities would you like to be part of?

Introvert or extrovert, the pandemic reminded most of us how much we love and miss our fellow humans when we can’t be with them. In this talk, I share ideas for reconnecting, and offer a few ideas for ways to find and connect with communities you’ve only dreamed of.

Here are my thoughts!

Life is fun when you live it with a big heart. I hope you have fun with this one!

Learning from the birds

When you pause for even a few minutes to observe the world around you, all sorts of messages are right there waiting.

See the strangers around you and feel the strength of Community

I’m sharing thoughts today on how a community can form with a group of strangers – which can sometimes get you out of a bind! This is a story of one very strange Patriot’s Day where I got stuck on the road in a terrific rainstorm. It could have been a sad, frustrating time but ended up being one of the best days ever.

How does being part of a strong community help you get things done?

When you’re part of a community, you feel safer taking chances in life because you feel supported. And you know that if something doesn’t work out exactly as you intended, someone is going to be there for you – maybe to help you laugh it off. And maybe to help you get on your feet to try again.

In the activity this week, I’ll walk you through ways to build stronger community ties. And ways to form a community if you are feeling the need for a wider web to catch you!

Here are my thoughts

I hope all is well in your world!

When you hit a wall – then what?

Have you had points in your life, at home or at work, where you were chugging along and then some major event, person, idea, or pandemic knocked you onto a new path?

Hitting a wall is not fun. But sometimes the Universe wants us to go in a new direction and that wall you ran into had a purpose. What you do after you hit a wall is often where the fun and magic begin.

Here’s a link with my thoughts on this fun topic. This is a quickie tip!

Sending you best wishes on a warm Virginia spring day.
